Art on the cheap

The filmmakers for ‘The Blair Witch Project’ saved money by returning the video camera to Circuit City after they were done filming.

The film costs about $60,000 to make, and has brought in almost $250,000 to date.

You have to appreciate the filmmakers, they were committed but clearly did not know it would work.

Approximately 20 hours of footage was shot in total, with the final film being whittled down to a lean 82 minutes.
