Liverpool native Finnegan O’Toole hosted a virtual bike-a-thon called “Finn’s Ride for Wishes’ to help Make-A-Wish in Central New York.
The 9-year-old is working to raise thousands of dollars the cause. With the help of some friends, Finn’s goal was to ride 24 hours by the end of the day.
“It makes me feel proud and helping others to make kids feel better,” O’Toole said.
“I’m proud of him, it’s wonderful that he’s looking out for other people and realizing that he can make a big difference,” said Finn’s grandpa Tom O’Toole.
So far, Finn has raised more than $4,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
