Surfing in Greece

From a glance, Greece seems like a surfer’s paradise. Warm, electric blue water. 10,000 miles of coastline surrounded by three seas. 1,200 islands and islets with unchartered potential surf breaks. But alas, the country is in the Mediterranean (imagine if it was in the South Pacific). Nonetheless, the land of ancient gods and goddesses defies earthly logic and receives more-than-rideable surf. And with such ample and diverse coastline, the variety is endless: beachbreaks, pointbreaks, slabs…there’s something for everyone, if you know where to look.
